Police are probing a shooting yesterday, which left a man nursing a gunshot injury.
They say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. at Ivy Main Road, St. Michael, in the area directly opposite the kiosks on Blenheim playing field.
Following reports of gunshots in the area, Police responded and learnt that a male who was walking in the area was injured.
He was transported to the QEH by private vehicle. A car that was parked in the area also received damage.
Investigations are ongoing into this matter. Anyone who can provide any information that can assist is asked to call the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
