A 29-year-old male is nursing multiple injuries after a shooting at Regent Hill, The Pine, St Michael, on Monday evening.
Communications and Public Affairs Officer with the Barbados Police Service, Inspector Rodney Inniss, told CBC News that “one 29-year-old received gunshot injuries to his left shoulder, left side of his back and right leg,” during the incident which occurred around 9:00 p.m.
Reports indicate that the man was walking in the area when he heard loud explosions and was shot.
Inspector Inniss added that the shooting victim, “was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private transportation” and that his “injuries are not life-threatening”.
