A source close to the veteran performer, after whom the Spring Garden Highway was renamed, told the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation that while he is unwell at this time he is in good spirits.
The individual, while not disclosing the specifics of his illness, said they spoke with him this afternoon and encouraged him to continue to rest and recuperate.
