A minor earthquake was recorded in the Atlantic Ocean to the south of Barbados last night.
The Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies says the 3.9 quake was recorded at 10:15 p.m.
It was located at Latitude 11.61 North and Longitude 59.85 West or 109 kilometres to the northeast of Tobago and 168 kilometres to the south of Bridgetown, Barbados.
The quake struck at a depth of S10 kilometres.
A week ago, a 4.5 magnitude quake was recorded 114 kilometres northwest of Bridgetown, Barbados.
