A man who was the subject of a missing person report on Tuesday, August 22, has been found dead.
He is 52-year-old Perry Ricardo Walker, of 3rd Avenue Spring Garden, Black Rock, St. Michael.
Police from District B Boarded Hall Station are investigating his unnatural death after the discovery of the partially decomposed body of an adult male, around 6:15 a.m. today, Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Ridge Estate, Christ Church.
A release from the Barbados Police Service states that an initial report came via telephone to that station on Saturday, August 26, around 10:20 p.m. At that time, the caller stated that they saw an unknown, suspicious-looking vehicle parked in a cart road in the vicinity of Ridge Estate, Christ Church.
“Police responded and did confirm the presence of the vehicle; after initial investigations took the vehicle into custody.
“A further check was made of the area at sunlight and the discovery was made of the body…
“Both the vehicle and the man were subject of a missing person and missing vehicle report made days earlier on Tuesday 22nd August 2023.
“The man was identified as Perry Ricardo Walker 52 years of 3rd Avenue Spring Garden, Black Rock, St. Michael.
