More development is on the cards for the area in the vicinity of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.
This as the Lower House on Tuesday debated a Resolution to lease 25,000 square feet of land to Rotary Inclusive Play Trust for the development of recreational facilities for children with disabilities.
Leading off the Debate, Housing Minister Dwight Sutherland noted the process for the lease started a few years ago and it was originally intended for the Rotary Club of Barbados South, but an amendment was needed.
