Mother donates piano to school in memory of son

A kindhearted mother donated a piano to the Grantley Adams Memorial School in memory of her son Michael Anthony Parris Robinson, who died at thirteen-months-old.

Angela Parris handed over the instrument to the Blackman’s, St. Joseph-based institution during a ceremony held in the school hall.

Parris says she is happy to donate the piano to the school, where it will play an instrumental role in the music programme.

Principal Major Andrew Skeete says the new instrument is a major boost in helping the Music Department to better meet the needs of students.
