A level playing field is coming for agriculture, as up to 100 million dollars is to be spent to boost that sector.
Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security, Indar Weir is encouraged by what he has seen in the sector to date.
He was speaking at the end of a tour of Mount Poyer, Bawdens and Haggatts, in the company of top officials from his Ministry and the Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation.
A CBC News team including Trevor Thorpe was also on the tour.
