Museums important to national development

A social historian wants the Barbados Museum to have an active presence in the community.

Professor Sir Woodville Marshall sees museums as important to national development.

He recommended officials take the Museum to the public.

Sir Woodville was delivering the first lecture in the 2023 Lecture Series of the Barbados Museum and Historical Society in association with the University of the West Indies.

His topic – “Making a National Museum”.
