The year has started off on a good note in the St. Philip South Constituency as some members of the community have already started their good deeds for 2024.
Members of the Bel-Air Neighbourhood Watch made a presentation of goods to Evangeline Smith Children’s Home.
The goods were collected via a collection drive around Christmas when persons in the community travelled around carolling.
President of the Bel-Air Neighbourhood Watch, Pamela Cumberbatch, says that the initiative is not a one-off presentation with plans in place to help other less fortunate groups.
Member of Parliament for St. Philip South Indar Weir voiced his gratitude for the Bel-Air Neighbourhood Watch.
He also encouraged other Barbadians to follow the good example by doing good deeds.
