Barbados will be opening a new travel office in Panama, as it seeks to gain a larger foothold in the Latin American travel market.
The announcement from the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc’s Director for the Caribbean and Latin America Corey Garrett.
Speaking to CBC News on the sidelines of the Caribbean Travel Forum, he said his office has been working in recent years, to generate interest in the market using digital channels and public relations.
Mr. Garrett also revealed plans to expand the twice weekly Copa Airlines service from Panama.
