Newest Master of the High Court sworn in

Barbados’ newest Master of the High Court has been sworn in.

Roger Barker took the oath this morning at State House, before acting president the very Reverend Dean Jeffrey Gibson.

The occasion was witnessed by his family and acting Director of Public Prosecutions, Alliston Seale.

Barker, who has been in the legal field for over two decades, has been giving an overview of the new role.

Barker is humbled by the appointment and is happy to be another outstanding citizen to emerge from the Greens St. George community.
