As the island continues to feel the effects of a tropical wave, the Barbados Meteorological Services has received no reports of major flooding.
This confirmation from Meteorologist Jonathan Alleyne who says the wave brought intense periods of rainfall and gusty winds.
He says rainfall accumulation of three inches has been recorded mainly in the eastern and central portions of the island, while just under two inches was recorded in Bridgetown.
According to the forecaster the wave, which started to affect the island around midnight should end some time tomorrow.
