America is telling its citizens to reconsider traveling to Barbados.
The US Department of State issued a Travel Advisory Level 3 for Barbados due to COVID-19.
This comes on the advice of America’s Centres for Disease Control and Prevention which issued the health notice indicating a high level of COVID-19 in the island.
However, CEO of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association Senator Rudy Grant doesn’t expect this latest development to have a negative impact on the industry.
In fact, speaking to CBC News, Senator Grant says occupancy levels are on the rise.
