The strike action taken by nurses over the last few weeks has slowed down the progress being made by the National Covid-19 Vaccination Programme to vaccinate more Barbadians.
Co-coordinator Dr Elizabeth Ferdinand says the programme had to be scaled down due to the strike action, however, she commended nurses on the job for their dedication and hard work.
Dr Ferdinand continues to urge Barbadians to get vaccinated. She also revealed a batch of COVID-19 vaccines set to expire on December 31st will be discarded.
