General Secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union Toni Moore said the tragic death of 51-year-old Guyanese national Andell McGarrell is a sobering reminder of the critical importance of occupational health and safety.
Ms. Moore said the fact that such accidents are taking place points to a disturbing trend of safety lapses in the workforce.
