Opposition Leader, Bishop Joseph Atherley supports the Resolution that partially recapitalizes the Unemployment Fund, managed by the National Insurance Scheme.
However, he has questions about several other aspects of Government’s operations.
Bishop Atherley asked for a timeline on the full recapitalization of the fund and Government’s position on redressing debt in ways that will not put further pressure on individuals.
He thinks implementing governance reform is a way of addressing the problem.
