In a few minutes, the just over 3000 Class Four students from primary schools across the island writing the 11 Plus exam will breathe a sigh of relief.
The exam is scheduled to finish at 1:00 p.m.
The 11 Plus determines which secondary school the students will be attending come September.
Staying true to tradition, this morning candidates and their parents or relatives assembled from just after 7 outside the various examination centres.
At the Parkinson Memorial School here in the Pine, adults were seen giving the little ones hugs, kisses and last words of affirmation.
