One horse vet and owner is willing to offer a reward for the safe return of his horse.
He is asking for assistance in getting his foal back after it was stolen from the paddock just after midday yesterday.
Initially both the mother and foal were taken but the mother has been found.
Flash as the horse is nicknamed has very distinguishing white marks on his face and legs and is just over a year old and was kept between the Belle and Waterford areas.
Dr. Jonathan White who is in Trinidad working, says he was notified after completing a lecture at St. Augustine Campus where he teaches Equine Surgery.
He said that one could get in by using the insulated handle on the gate without being shocked.
This is the second time this year that he’s been a victim of theft.
Dr White says a young horse will call out to its mother so anyone hearing excessive whinying should be aware.
