President Her Excellency, the Most Honorable Dame Sandra Mason suggests Barbados today needs PAREDOS now more than ever.
She is encouraging the non-profit organisation, in the face of challenges and hurdles, to continue its work noting it cannot be business as usual given the changes brought by COVID-19.
Dame Sandra posed several questions to her audience at the group’s annual general meeting to ponder including the make up of the nuclear and extended families.
PAREDOS was encouraged to reflect on how parents will have to adjust and their rights along with children’s rights.
The President sees a role for men’s groups like the Men’s Educations Support Association and PAREDOS to work together and for lessons of the past to guide today’s families.
