A pedestrian is the latest person to lose their life on Barbados’ roads.
71-year-old Clyde Squires of Cliff Cottage, St. John, was identified as the victim by a close family member after police responded to a road traffic collision around 5:50 p.m. yesterday, Sunday, August 27, 2023.
That accident along Lodge Road, Christ Church involved a motor car and Mr. Squires, the pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor who visited.
No other injuries were reported, however, the motorcar sustained a shattered windscreen, as well as damage to the front fender and bumper.
Investigations are continuing
