Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is set to address a major summit that sets a global agenda for action on the most urgent issues facing humanity and the planet.
She will be joined by the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron and many more for the second annual Global Citizen NOW summit to be held in New York City on Thursday and Friday.
Global Citizen is the world’s leading international advocacy organisation, on a mission to end extreme poverty now.
The Barbadian leader took part in the Global Citizen Festival last year.
Every Global Citizen NOW session will feature definitive next steps for participants, attendees, and global citizens to take immediate action on urgent issues including climate change, the global food crisis, gender inequality, protecting activists, and more.
