Police identify man found dead in St. Philip

The Barbados Police Service has identified the man whose body was discovered in a cart road track at Marley Vale, St. Philip.

He is 40-year-old old Shawn Maynard, of Bayfield, St. Philip.

Maynard was found unresponsive by a resident in the area on Wednesday evening.

A medical examiner visited the scene and pronounced death.

Police investigations are ongoing and they are appealing for any information that may help them in the investigation of this matter. People can call the District C police station at 4168200/02/04 police emergency 211 or any police station.
