Police investigating viral video

Police are probing a social media post highlighting what appears to be an attempted armed robbery on a public service vehicle.

Communications and Public Affairs Inspector Rodney Inniss has confirmed they have heard about the incident however they have yet to receive an official report on the matter.

While not commenting on the matter he told CBC News they are examining the video posting to determine its authenticity.

The viral video showcased a man on what appeared to be a ZR van and two male passengers on the van attempting to rob him while he was driving.

The entire incident was recorded by dash camera.
