Police are probing a 2nd shooting incident this morning.
Police PRO Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss says around 10:10, a motorcyclist along with a pillion passenger reportedly rode through an area between Waterhall Land and Hill Road, St. Michael and discharged a number of shots before riding away.
A 23 year old male was injured as a result. He was transported to the QEH by ambulance for medical treatment.
The scene has been cordoned off as investigations are ongoing.
This shooting follows a separate incident this morning in New Orleans, St. Michael, where a 56 year old man was shot in the chest and back.
He was later pronounced dead at the QEH.
