The Immunisation Unit, which was established in February 2021 to coordinate the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 in Barbados, operated for the last time yesterday, January 31, 2023.
Nonetheless, COVID-19 vaccines will continue to be available at all polyclinics across the island according to weekly schedules.
From today, the Ministry of Health and Wellness will issue vaccination certificates.
