A former Tourism Minister is confident Barbados has now concocted the right formula to register a significant increase in visitor arrivals for the upcoming winter tourist season.
After seeing first hand the efforts of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated on the ground, Barbados’ Ambassador to the US and Organisation of American States, His Excellency Noel Lynch strongly believes there will be a further rebound for the island’s tourism sector in the coming months.
Speaking exclusively to CBC News, Ambassador Lynch explains the BTMI has been able to address some outstanding issues.
Chief among them, getting people on planes flying into Barbados.
Another concern according to Ambassador Lynch has been the quality of hotel rooms on offer in Barbados.
That he says has been addressed.
