thumbnail_Prescod Boulevard will be resurfaced under MTW's Acclerated Mill and Pave Programme

Prescod Boulevard in St. Michael is one of the latest areas to benefit from the Ministry of Transport and Works’ Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme.

A team from C. O. Williams Construction will begin milling and paving starting from 7:00 p.m. tonight until 6:00 a.m.

The work is expected to continue for the next three nights pending rainy weather or unforeseen circumstances.

During this time traffic will be diverted onto Redman Drive and Fontabelle Road.

Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid delays.

However, local and emergency access will be granted where possible.

Road users should also exercise caution and obey instructions given by signage and flag persons while travelling through the construction zone.

MTW and C. O. Williams Construction apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank the public for their cooperation.
