Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley arrived at the Eden Lodge Primary School at around 12:42 pm for what would be a very quick voting process.
Completing the registration, including santisation and voting took her less than ten minutes, after which she spoke with the media.
She said the concern at that point was what appeared to be a low turn out of BLP voters, but the intention was to redouble efforts to get them out in the hours of voting left.
When asked for her thoughts on the COVID-19 protocols that were in place at the polling stations island wide, Ms. Mottley said she had not been to any others yet at that time, but she was satisfied with what she had seen at Eden Lodge.
