One of the issues raised during recent security-related meetings involving local promoters and Police related to the premature termination of some entertainment events.
That’s according to President of the Entertainment Association of Barbados, Rudy Maloney, as he spoke to CBC News, to give an update on what came out of the meetings.
He also says promoters are committed to working with Police, the Barbados Defence Force and private security, to ensure the safety of patrons at all events – not just during Crop Over but throughout the year.
Maloney said further follow-up discussions are set to take place between promoters and Police to discuss other matters related to the local entertainment industry.
