The 2023 Atlantic Hurricane season is set to begin in just over a week on June 1.
With this in mind, an insurance executive has appealed for Barbadians to ensure their homes and other investments are covered should a system or disaster strike.
This latest reminder has come from the General Manager of General Accident Insurance Company, Wanda Mayers.
She was speaking as the company held its customer appreciation day at its Warrens office today.
Apart from receiving refreshments and other goodies, some clients won prizes.
One of the lucky policyholders was McDonald Barrow, who was with company since it began operations on island.
