The Public Accounts Committee has been continuing its probe into the Poverty Eradication Fund and the distribution of monies from it.
Yesterday’s joint virtual and in person session, saw the fund’s former Coordinator Sonia Hamblin and Former Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development Janet Phillips, being questioned.
In her contribution, Tourism Minister Senator Lisa Cummins asked the former Permanent Secretary, how it was possible that sponsorship for a show was covered by the fund.
