Public Procurement Bill to bring order

Government is working to transform the way public procurement is done.

Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Ryan Straughn says it will come through the Public Procurement Bill 2021.

He says the legislation has been long in coming and applies to all Government entities whether central or state-owned.

Mr. Straughn has encouraged citizens interested in engaging with Government to register as a supplier.

Parliament has also agreed to a Resolution for amendments to the Debt Settlement Arrears Bill 2021 and Customs Bill 2021.
