There’s some good news for residents of St. John this morning, following yesterday’s parish wide water outage.
The Barbados Water Authority has resumed pumping at the Bowmanston Station which was affected by low levels in the reservoir there.
According to reports from the Authority last night, as the levels improve, water will begin to flow once again in the distribution network.
Director of Engineering, Charles Leslie has been overseeing the process.
He’s confident BWA crews have identified the source of the problem after rigorous investigations.
The BWA expects some communities will still be affected by outages or low pressure for a little while longer.
The BWA tanker service will continue to operate in those affected St. John districts.
