The Barbados Water Authority is on a mission to encourage greater penetration of personal storage tanks at homes across the country.
General Manager, Keithroy Halliday has been sharing the BWA’s move to help home owners shore up their storage capacity, especially those considered most vulnerable, as Barbados joined the world in observing World Water Day yesterday under the theme ‘Groundwater – Making the Invisible, Visible’.
He wants consumers to take water security more seriously, to better ready themselves in the event of an emergency.
The BWA boss is encouraging consumers to make storing water a part of their standard routine.
