The Psychiatric Hospital is on a mission to remove the stigma associated with mental health.
To do this, Nursing Officer Ryan Lewis, is championing a national campaign titled “Check My Bias”.
The programme was launched on March 11 to allow people to check their beliefs and myths surrounding mental health issues.
Mr. Lewis says since the soft launch of the project via social media, they have visited polyclinics and other health institutions to educate the public.
He says so far, public interest is there, but more effort will be made to break the stigma against mental health.
