The Queen Elizabeth Hospital has welcomed its new Chief Operations Officer (COO) Dr. Christine Greenidge D.H.A., R.N.
Her appointment went into effect on Monday, February 14th, 2022.
Dr. Greenidge holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Nursing, as well as a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration.
She has decades of experience in the field of nursing and has lectured upcoming nurses at several colleges throughout the New York City area, such as Lehman College and Bronx Community College as a Professor of Nursing, and Business Administration.
In a release, the QEH also highlighted other aspects of her background, including a role as the Associate Executive Director of the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation, the largest municipal healthcare system in the United States, where she had oversight of multiple inter-disciplinary departments, primarily focused on patient care services, training and development, customer service and patient safety. She is also a Patient Safety Officer, accredited by the Institute of Healthcare Improvement.
Dr. Greenidge says within her new role, she intends to focus on customer service and quality care outcomes and says she hopes to make the QEH a place where patients and customers are always satisfied with the quality of the service they receive.
