Region building on lesson learnt from COVID-19

Education and health officials from Barbados and the region are working to build on lessons learnt during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The United States Agency for International Development in collaboration with UNICEF and the Barbados Ministry of Education have hosted a workshop titled, ‘Building Resilient Schools Through Infection Prevention Control’.

UNICEF Representative for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Pieter Bult, has expressed optimism that stronger more robust plans will be developed.
