Remembrance Day will be observed on Sunday, November 14th this year with an adapted Parade and virtual Interdenominational Memorial Service at National Heroes Square in the City.
The start time for the Parade is 8:00 a.m. and it will be streamed on various social media platforms.
The Barbados Regiment will provide the Guard of Honour, with the Queen’s and the Regimental Colours being carried on parade.
The only other troops on parade will be the sentries around the Cenotaph, flag bearers, wreath bearers and the Royal Barbados Police Force Band.
In attendance will be Governor General Dame Sandra Mason, Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, Chief Justice of Barbados Sir Patterson Cheltenham, Leader of the Opposition Bishop Joseph Atherley, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Linda S. Taglialatela, Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce, Chief of Staff Errington Shurland, and a representative from the Barbados Legion.
