The repair of the St. Andrew Post Office is a front of mind priority for the Government of Barbados.
Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams gave this assurance as he, along with Parliamentary Representative for the area Dr. Romel Springer, and other officials from the Post Office and the Ministry of Housing visited the building, which is under active repair.
Mr. Abrahams says residents are having to go all over the island to cash cheques, but using other available nearby buildings is not possible.
