The requirements of some banks to open accounts in Barbados have been called into question by the Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados, Dr. Kevin Greenidge.
He stated only identification cards and proof of address are needed.
Dr. Greenidge told a virtual meeting with the Barbadian Disapora other requirements are however requested.
He also advised the Diaspora there are several other avenues through which they can invest in Barbados.
