A commercial capitalising on Barbados being the birthplace of mega superstar, The Right Excellent Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is currently being filmed.
The recording is being done in part, in Rihanna Drive, which is named in honour of the international recording artiste and Barbados’ National Hero.
As a result, that road and parts of Grants Gap and Parris Gap, Westbury Road, were the affected areas.
Only residents were allowed access as the international film crew, with boom mics and dolly cameras were busy shooting content for a commercial.
Officials on site were tight-lipped on the activity and gave no details on the elements of the exercise but promised information in due course.
CBC understands that it is supposed to be a commercial on Barbados.
