There seem to be rumblings in the National Union of Public Workers over Akanni McDowell once again.
CBC News understands that a national council meeting was held yesterday for the hearing of McDowell and Natalie Murray on charges which they were placed on earlier this year. It is understood the two were expelled.
When contacted for confirmation on this or the outcome of the meeting, Acting General Secretary Wayne Walrond declined to comment on the matter.
McDowell is going to court with the matter.
