Savvy vendors to stay

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has weighed in on the Savoy property and Savvy on the Bay issue in Bay Street, assuring vendors operating there that regardless of the outcome of Government’s discussions with the developer, they will be allowed to stay.

Meanwhile, Ms. Mottley says she was disturbed that an agreement by all parties at the start of the discussions not to argue the matter in the media, was not seemingly honoured.

She says this is one of the main reasons why Government had withheld any official comment on the issue for so long.
