Barbadians have been turning out in their numbers for the National Housing Corporation’s Mortgage Fair currently underway in Golden Square Freedom Park.
The event runs until 3:00 p.m., but thousands came out for the morning session to speak with the financial institutions on hand and also make their applications to the NHC.
The Corporation’s General Manager, Ian Gill says the event is part of Government’s move to ensure Barbadians can get a ‘piece of the rock’.
He says more housing projects will start shortly.
