All secondary schools across the island will close on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31.
The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training says this is to facilitate maximum participation in the Barbados Secondary Schools’ Athletic Championships (BSSAC), which will be held over that two-day period.
School is set to resume on Monday, April 3.
