Senator supports PM’s Office’s budget

Senator Patricia Parris wants to know if the budget to the Prime Minister’s Office is cut who will help the vulnerable families.

Speaking on Debate in the Upper House on the Appropriation Bill she says a number of families who were discovered during COVID-19 through the Survival Programme Survey.

She says the 1500 people look forward to the assistance as do those from the Adopt-A-Family Programme.

She added that the programmes also work toward getting the individuals to be gainfully employed.

The Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs needs to be commended.
