Several roads in the vicinity of the Central Bank of Barbados in the City will be resurfaced by the Paving Unit of the Ministry of Transport and Works.
Starting from tonight at 6:00 p.m. a team from Infra Construction Inc. will begin milling Church Street Major, Church Street Minor and Pollygreen Alley roads until 6:00 a.m.
The paving will be done by MTW on May 23 to 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., pending weather or any unforeseen challenges.
While these roads are being paved they will be closed to traffic.
Additionally, the parking lot of the Central Bank on Spry Street will also be paved by the Ministry.
While the road will remain open, the public is advised to expect delays as heavy machinery and trucks will be used on this road.
Road users are asked to exercise extreme caution or use alternate routes during these times.
