Police investigations are ongoing into 2 separate shooting incidents on Friday, one of which resulted in the death of a man.
Lawmen say around 8:21 last night, 32 year old Dawson Herbert of Chapman Lane, St. Michael was shot in the left side of his face, while sitting in a car at Bridge Gap, Black Rock, St. Michael.
He was taken to the QEH by private vehicle, but succumbed to his injuries around 4:40 this morning while receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile, Police are also probing a shooting incident which occurred around 5:35 p.m. Friday.
They say they received a report that two people on a motor cycle passed through the Constitution Road, St. Michael area and discharged shots.
A number of spent shells were recovered from the area. No injuries were reported to Police, but a car was reportedly damaged.
