Attorney General Dale Marshall says the Barbados government is heartened by the country’s upgrade to Tier Two in the US State Department’s 2022 Trafficking in Persons Report.
In a statement, Mr Marshall says it represents significant work by the National Task Force Against Trafficking in Persons.
He says the government is determined to prevent the heinous crime of trafficking in persons from getting a solid foothold in Barbados.
